Lake Harry Room
WE STILL HAVE ALL OUR CABINS AND LUXURY ROOMS IN OUR CARAVAN PARK AVAILABLE.
These nine accommodation units are the newest addition to the Caravan Park.
All rooms are spacious and have large flat screen televisions, fridges, coffee making facilities with biscuits, continental breakfast, reverse cycle air conditioning, en-suites and can sleep up to 3 people. They also have bedside lights for reading and electric blankets for extra warmth. Great facilities to keep you comfortable in this harsh environment.
They are close to the Roadhouse and Bistro.
Chat to the owner/manager Lyall Oldfield, a born and bred “Marree man” and genuine outback character, or one of the other friendly staff and find out some of what makes this area really “tick”.
These are the most comfortable rooms you’ll find in Marree, coupled with the friendly and informative staff, will make your stay in this remote and sometimes hot and harsh country an enjoyable adventure.
Each room has been assigned a name which relates to the local area, for instance the Lake Harry Room – named after nearby Lake Harry; a fresh water lake and will only fill when there a big rain falls over the area. When the lake is full, there are many birds that visit the lake particularly swans and ducks. Lake Harry is also the site of an adventurous horticultural experiment. Each room has an information story board with photos which relates to their name inside on a wall.
